Hi! I just got my new Figure eight puffer two nights ago! I got these pictures and couldn't resist posting them since you guys helped me with his prep work so much! Meet Banana Sundae!

did you cycle the tank

Yes, I did cycle the tank for two weeks in a silent/ plant cycle as per forum recommendations. I tested the water regularly with a test kit, and am continuing to. He seems to be doing well and eating well.

Did you do fresh or brackish water? I know some aquaria raised can do fresh water, but mine are in brackish (the shop kept them in brackish).

I did brackish! They were kept in brackish. I think that they don't mind fresh but it can affect their immune system, though I'm not sure.
