BettaMomma had mentioned a LPS that was expected to get some crowntails...so I called, but by 3pm yesterday, they weren't in yet. Called this AM, and they were!

I half thought there would be quite a few to choose from...there were only six. There were a couple that were interesting, but just not to my taste....whitish and read smeared boys.....and I ended up bringing home one that I think kinda looks like Alex's Daddy's guy.

I got a couple pics, but they were just after getting him home, still in his cup.

Here's Walter....

Can there be a mix between a VT and a CT, but look like a VT with crowsn at the end of his talfin, but not dorsal fin? :dunno: My VT from petsmart kind of has the same fins as your CT, but not the CT dorsal fin. :/ :dunno:

He's in his tank now.......seems to like it, however I may get rid of the big plant in there and replace it with a shorter one.

Here's some pics of him in his new tank! Ok, lets see if I can do what Alex's Daddy said.....

Ok, I am NOT doing something right here.....when I add an image, I go down to the bottom of the message box, where it says file attachments. I find my picture and insert it. I see there is an image button above the post box, however that asks for a URL...I'm taking these off my computer. No hope for me I guess...

I can design websites, but I can't add more than one photo to a post! LOL

I sure love taking pictures of this guy!

I actually have a photo album on Yahoo...and have placed the photos in there......do I just have to copy/paste the url for the specific picture using the IMG button above, and it will then show up when I post the message?

It was so funny this morning....his tank is on our kitchen counter...and that is where he is staying (regardless of what the hubby has to say!) and he watched me very intently as I made breakfast this morning.....he didn't miss a thing! Think he was waiting for his share.

Eating like a pig, too, he is. However I am feeding him Bettamin...I think I may buy some pellets instead. BettaMomma said in a post how she feeds one pellet at a time...that makes a lot of sense so leftover food doesnt end up at the bottom. The bettamin is tiny little flakes, and even though he only gets a tiny little pinch, some of it falls right to the bottom.........so think pellets are in order....

Pellets are great, too, because even if they do fall to the bottom, they cruise around the tank looking for stuff on the bottom to eat, and if they happen to see one they'll pick it up and eat it. Or, if they catch a glimpse of it falling, they'll chase after it.
