Do you know what it is and what care it requires? Search through Goniopora.org for more details. It is an Alveopora spp. but their general care requirements are very similar to Goniopora. They both have a general poor survival rate in home aquariums, often believed to be caused by lack of food.

Goniopora = 22/24 Tentacles per polyp
Alveopora = 12 Tentacles per polyp

ya i know what it is . i did some reading on it before i bought it and thought why not . if i can keep an anemone for as long as i have with know problems why not some Alveopora spp . ill just spot feed and see how it goes . if that don't work ill do something else . ill only be out 20$ if i cant make it live anyhow .anyone have some of this Alveopora spp? if so what are you doing to keep it?i also got an elephant ear mushroom and a garden eel witch I'm taking back tomorrow. do to it wanting to jump out of the tank and not being able to put a top on the tank becouse of lighting.

Actually with me the cost is the first thing on my mind. It must be because im cheap  But after that the well-being of the dead animal comes second :good:
