My New Clarius Catfish & Shovelnose Cat

hi well ive just got a Clarius Catfish today 11 inch really nice and well active
ive allready got a 14 inch shovelnose catfish and i was told they should get on really good together?
the Clarius Catfish has been in the tank now for about 3 hours and they have started fighting
has both of these fish have no teeth cant see them hurting each other, but is this normal with big fish
tryin to see who the most dominant one ??
coz i dont want to get rid of any of them ive been after these cats for a while now.

Have to say not a good choice for tank mates!
Sorubim are quiet and ambush predators, whereas clarius are out and out gorgers - they grow quick and eat anything they can fit in their mouths. Hate to say it but if you want to keep the shovelnose happy, then the clarius will have to go.

its a shame tho they r both great fish just get another tank so u can have both off ur babys thats what i have done bt i think i went to fae i now have 24 tanks and a huge pond lol well gd luck rich
