It has been forever and a day since I held a betta photoshoot, and since I just did waterchanges on every single tank and bowl I have today, I figured I'd take a few pics of my newest additions:

Abrid, who flares at anything, everything, and nothing. I'm convinced he's insane. The first pic is a closer representation of his real colours :)

Vassago, probably Abrid's spawn brother. Both are Walmart bettas.

This pink and lemon yellow cutey is Yura. I picked him up at a Petsmart in Houston. You can't tell from the pic, but the yellow markings are actually in a butterfly pattern.

Adoniel, who is difficult to photograph because he lives in a cat-shaped bowl which is rather lumpy. He's grey and prettyful

Lastly is the bi-coloured beauty Zaliel. You gotta love that dark stripe! :D
His fins are all crimped at the end, which makes him look like a flower, I think.

Way too many
I've got 15 betta bowls/tanks right now, but tomorrow the silicon will be done drying in a 10 gallon I split up, so 5 bettas are going to be moved into that in a couple of days ;)
The split tanks are soooo much easier to clean than 3049314801 bowls!

It's hard to believe any of those are Walmart bettas...aside from my pink and burgandy, and my yellow males, 99% of the bettas I've seen at any Walmart are greeney blues and reds...

They're awesome!

I go there every week on the day they get their shipments, so I get the first pick of the bunch ;)

Wow, simply gorgeous!! The Petsmart here generally has plain reds/blues but Petco often has some interesting colors. I almost picked up a very golden looking betta but he just didn't seem active enough and I didn't want to risk another loss so soon after Haiku :(. There was also a partly black boy, but I didn't like the way one of his ventral fins seemed curled up.
