my new betta!

its a metallic purple-green and gorgeouss.....i bought it from a very knowledable lfs and the guy said it is a male...what do you all think? sorry for the quick pictures and streaky glass ...in a hurry to get pizza and wings!

what a beautiful fish! It does look like a male plakat, but I can always be a female. Just look to see if there is a white toob under its stomach area, near those two fins. But it does have the body shape of a plakat maleand i say that because my plakats have a diffrent body shape as compared to the VT's and Ct males I have had. More humpish.

I love your new fish! He's awesome! I have one thats similar that is a male. His body and fin shape/length look exactly like yours. I'd say male! He is gorgeous though! Whats his name going to be?
