Well i've gone and done it, I've loved snakes for years, always wanted one, never gotten around to it.

This last few weeks I have really been reading up alot, as I got a big vivarium for free and figured it was a sign ;)

We were meant to be going away for the weekend, but due to the snow and me not being very well, we've had to cancel, so we've just been out and i've spent the money on my first snake instead

He is an Anerythristic motley corn (how am I going to remember to spell that?) about 6 months old and he is stunning! easy to handle, although he is just settling into his new home at the moment.

I had to buy him a whole new house as the big viv I have would stress him out too much at his age, but it gives me more time to do additional things to it before he's big enough to go in.

This is what he looks like, Although I havent taken a picture of him yet as I want him to settle in first

Thats not actually him in the photo, I linked to that pic to show people what he looks like, mine may be a little larger, but not much.

That is so cute. It will look very much like my anery although mine isn't motley. You have made a great choice and if you have any questions feel free to PM me.

Just a few questions.

What is the size of your vivs bag and small?( Is he in a geo box at the minute or just a small viv?)

Are the vivs glass or wood with sliding doors.

What heating and lighting are you using?

What is he eating? Has he fed yet?

What substrate are you using? (paper towels?)

What decor have you got?

Sorry I just like to find these things out so I can make sure everything is fine. I presume you have done lots of research though.

Pleasse post pics of your set-up too.
