Finally got my new 60 gallon (48 inch) tank up and running.
Only real worry right now is that it is leaning forward ever so very slightly, barely noticeable... not too worried about it falling over, though, unless someone pulls it over on purpose! lol
The two big rocks were put in there because the driftwood began floating again a bit (not fully water-logged just yet I guess!) Funny thing is I kinda like them now and maybe they will stay!
Might add another small plant or two but don't want to clutter it too much since it is fairly narrow, only about 13 inches deep.
The guy at my local aquarium specialty store is a die-hard enthusiast, so I took his advice on the filter. Got the AquaClear 110 (500 gph) over the the AquaClear 70 (300gph). He actually liked the canister filter best, but was a bit too much for me right now. Also moved up on the heater a bit, going with the 250 watt over the 200 watt... hoping not to push the heater's capability too hard.
The main wood piece (center) is real driftwood that was soaked and boiled... the other 2 are fake.
Hope it meets with approval!
