Well here is my new 5x2x2 tank, been waiting a while to upgrade the rio 240 they where in, it is a custom built stand, well some frame work and tongue and groove around an iron stand, although the lid is custom.

Looks great ozzy  and the chair next to it gives a perfect viewing spec too!! :D

Some of your fish (from what I can see) : -

Labidochromis Caeruleus (Yellow Lab)
Melanochromis Johannii
Metriaclima Estherae (Red Zebra)
Haplochromis Venustus
Cobalt Zebra (I think?)

Not sure of the others.

Nice tank, doesnt look 5x2x2 to me though... have you actually measured it? The width doesnt look anywhere near 2 foot wide from the pictures..

Ben

hi mate yeah i bought it second hand and it is a custom built tank, and i must admit when i got to the house to view it i thought exactly the same as you so i measured it and it is 60x24x23, so in effect yeah u r right i do lie it is an inch short of 2 feet wide, but i do agree it doesnt look 2foot wide but as i say i can assure it is well an inch short.

Fair enough :) It must be the angle the picture was taken from combined with the surrounding furnature making it look alot smaller than it actually is.

Ben

cheers all this is my pride and joy, i have also noticed last night got lots of fry in there, so planning on getting them out today if poss and putting them in my 3 footer.
