This is my new 55 gallon tank which is still cloudy even after cleaning the sand and refilling the tank 3 times hopefully my filter can deal with the rest. :) The tank on the bottom is my 10 gallon iso/quarantine tank.

Yah I know I need/want decorations but there are just so expensive. I'm looking into some fake plants too but even those add up lol..

Ah, here:

If I go for angelfish
4 Pearls
1 Brist. Plec or 5-6 cories
6-7 Black Phantom tetras or 6-7 Rasboras
Angelfish (Not sure on the Number of Any idea how many??)

If I don't get angelfish..
4 Pearls
1 Bris. Plec or 5-6 cories
6-7 Glo-Lites or 6-7 Rasboras or 6-7 Black Phantoms
5-7 Honey Gouramis or something else..

you'll definitly have to get some plants if you want angels, becuase they really like them. my suggestion for your tank is add a bunch of real plants on the right side around the root deco and leave the left side relatively open.

I'm not getting real plants because I don't want to spend a lot of money on lighting right now.. If there were plants that could live in less than 1WPG then I would add a couple for them.

I say go with conventional wisdom and put the plants at the ends and along the back of the tank and give the fish an open area in the middle; that way the fish will go to the middle of the tank, and make it more attractive from all angles that way.

Lighting can be done very cheaply for large tanks; just put plexiglass on top and hang a shop light on top of it. I wish I had a large, easily lit tank. Trying to get sufficient light for my 32 gallon without spending a fortune is next to impossible. I may have to stick with low-light plants (Which I'm perfectly happy with; I'm already growing Java Fern in massive quanitities in my Co2-injected 2.8 WPG 10 gallon tank). Soon the colonization of the tank will begin. Due to the unfortunate reality that fish don't live forever-especially inbred ones, I'm moving more from a tank suited to the activity level of Tiger barbs to one more suited for a few Kribensis and some guppies.
