I just got a 29 gallon tank and will be doing a fishless cycle shortly.
Here are my stocking ideas:
6 cory cats
8 pearl danios
8 white clouds

Can I fit this? Should I just pick the clouds or the danios? I've been waiting to get the cories for years, so they are a must. I have a Whisper 30 filter, a 20 watt flourescent bulb, and a 100 watt heater, although I'm not sure if the thermostat is working, and I may upgrade to a 150 watt, as the temperature dropped a few degrees overnight. I can't really think of any other fish, especially since I'm very worried that I'd be grossly overstocked with just the white clouds, danios, and cories.

Also, would the fish be okay at 76 degrees? I have heard that the cories like somewhat cooler water, and that the white clouds need cool water.

Thanks!!!!!!!!!!

I would get a larger filter. I am running a whisper 30/60 on mine. It is rated for 60g. I have 6 cories and 12 small schooling fish. They are fine. I am also planning to add a few kuhli loaches and a blue ram pair.
I would say yours should be fine. :D

I think I would go for zebra or leopard danios, rather than pearls - they're slightly smaller and they have a slightly lower temperature range. Also the type of cory cats will make a difference - they vary quite a bit in their temperature requirements and the size they get to. I think this would be a great tank, though - especially if it had lots of plants :good:
