View attachment 26599Hey Guys,

Some Of you May Remember Me Making a Nano Pond Last Summer on the Spur of the Moment.

Used an Old Rubber Garbage Bin as the Pond.

Added some Flag Iris and Something else Which I forget the Name Of.

Well This Afternoon I got Bored and Decided to Renovate it.

Tidied up the plants and found a Nice Big Supply of Blood Worm and Red Worm in the Roots.

Also Found a Fish in the Roots, I Had Forgotten Adding a Fish. Its a Betta, A Red 1. A bit Tatty But OK. Put him in a Jug While I cleaned it Up.

Added Some Gravel and Rocks and Some More Plants from 1 of my Other Ponds. Spruced up the Surrounding with Ivy. And Filled with Water from the Aged Water barrel in the Back Garden.

Heres an Old Pic from Last Year.

Quite easily Actually

Last year I had soooooooooooooo Many bettas I kinda Lost Track of where they all Were.

There might be some in the Other ponds and Water Barrells.

This year I am Gonna Do Another WCMM Pond, and try a Betta Imbellis Pond (With Heating)

Gonna Trim the Plants and Add some New plants tommorrow.
Will Take Pix and start to Introduce Live foods and Mozzies and Nymphs.
Then if all goes well a couple of White/Gold Clouds

I really like this idea, but what temperature is that pond generally sitting at?

Do you heat it, and if so how?

Since this summer is supposed to be warm, I was toying with the idea of adding some rosy barbs to my pond once it's cleaned out...

AS Its position is in full sun all day long, it gets to around 20-24, Never heated it before.
