My Mollie is Curling up. I won't straighten up. What do I do?

how is the mollie swimming? does it eat? i recently had a mollie and she was doing the same thing, unfortunatly i think it was a parasite that i had not caught in time and she died.
Do a quick 15% water change with aquarium salt added(i hear mollies really like salt, also it aids in many illnesses
i agree with that since they do pick up when you add the salt

The mollie is swimming in an arc shape. It is still eating. I did a water change but didnt add any salt. Is table salt fine or do I need to get aquarium salt. Also how much should be added?

don't use table salt! you need to use aquarium salt which is cheap, shouldn't cost more than $2-3. you use one tablespoon to every 5 gallons also you should have the temp around 80 or so. just be careful if you have any scaleless fish in your tank (ie pleco). my pleco does not seem to mind it but i think it can harm them.

also, i forgot to add what color is the poop? if it white and stringy i believe that there is a paristite infection though i'm not 100% sure but i'll check on that

Yes, white poop is an indication of an internal parasite. However, the symptoms you describe do not seem to be typical of internal parasites, but i might be wrong. Give us a reading on ammonia, nitrites and nitrates, ASAP.

Good luck

Vey much aggreed, thats why i was specific when i mentioned it. I use Doc Wellfish's AQUARIUM SALT , which you can find at even walmart or any fish/pet store. You can even order the salt off that link, they ship all over the world and I've ordered tests kits from them before, so they're dependable.

One of my silvertip tetras did that but I didnt catch it in time and it died. none of the other fish caught whatever it had, thankfully!
