sadly my male BN plec, father to many past away a few days ago, now the female looks sad, she just sits there in front of his castle all day, she is in with a few of her older fry, including 1 of there first who is also looking a little sad after looseing here daddy. is there anythink i can do to cheer them up?

Sad to hear of your loss, loosing a fish is always hard :'(

Do you know how it died? Was it just old age?

If everything is ok with the water and that wasn't the reason he died, maybe you could get the sad fry a new sep-dad? Maybe you could replace the dead BN with a new male.

it was old age i have had him about 9 years, i will get another in the future but i'll wait till the fry are a bit bigger. the female is just as old so i hope she doesn't die now.
