My Lost Turtle Is Back And Alive

I just needed to share this with everybody. My Red Ear Slider got out of the tank and ran away about a month ago. I went to school and came home today and my parents found it. It was upstairs in my room in the tank, but they found it downstairs in the kitchen. All I have to say is WOW, these turtles can live without water for a month. And no food, they are such crazy creatures.

I'm glad you found it! I hope my turtle has a happy ending too, although I doubt it. He got away outside, out of a pond enclosure. O well, maybe it will be like 'The Incredible Journey,' only, with my turtle. I just hope he found some deep water, like the dugout a half mile away, as it's winter here now and hes been gone for about 4 months.
