we do also have around 200 goldfish in 3 ponds in the garden and 3 loony Cats....its getting like a zoo round here

None of them are showing up for me except the last two. :(

Lovely tanks you have there, and nice looking hawks too! How exactly do you hunt with them?

:D
All fixed now...the pictures are huges tho :*)

As for hunting with Hawks???
You use them to hunt rabbits and small game birds Phesants quail etc.....they kill the animals/birds quickley and then I bought them home for consumtion. Its one of the oldest forms of hunting in the world, and people have hunted with a variety of birds Hawks falcon etc the world over for literally thousands of years...bit of useless info now...the birds we are holding are Harris Hawks these birds come from the Americas...so when you watch films like King Arthure and Gladiator and you see them hunting with thses birds...they must have be darn clever to get them from the USA 800+ years before Columbus :hyper:

edited cos I cant spell :-(

Lovely pictures, nice to have a warning about the snakes! I'm not bothered but at least we had the choice to look or not. I'm fascinated that you hunt with a hawk, a very old skill. Do they ever use the hawk to get rid of pigeons? They sometimes do around shopping centres and so on. :) PS There was a newspaper item recently where they used a hawk to frighten the pigeons away but unfortunately the hawk was too quick and managed to catch and kill one of them.

Yes they do use them to clear pigeons and our local golf course uses them to clear rabbits too :)
Its a great deal of fun and a lovely way to spend the day.....we go see a guy in milton keynes to do it, I recommend him :D and his fantastic birds he has some beautiful birds and even has a vulture :hyper: Thanks for the comments about my pets...and I always warn about the Snooks as they are called in our house....they really freak some people out so I think its only fair :) Me tho I love them to bits....

Lovely snakes and puppy! I can't tell from the picture, but is Alf granite or anery (or neither)? Falconry is really fascinating... birds of prey are so intelligent majestic .

Aww Willow is so very pretty..she is going to be simply gorgeous when she is grown!

Can't comment on the snakes..cas well..they give me the heebey geevies...but lol for snakes...welll they are snakes lol.

Hey, atleast you use the falcons (a natural removal process) rather then use chemicals or poisons..that can also kill other wildlife that happen to eat them once they die. Atleast this way, the pigeons have the choice to leave or be killed.

Good pics.

Alf is an alf :D He is a rescue snake and to be honsist nobody has been able to give us a clear ID on his colour I will post another pic so you can see :-(
