It's still too young to tell if it's female or male so I'm just going to call it an 'It' until I know :p I got it today, he/she's only 6-8 weeks old
I have him/her in an aquarium until tomorrow, I gotta get my critter pen back from my neighbours -_-

His/Her name is Minx

really? the people at the pet store said he/she was too young to tell.
Yes, he is only white and black

Thanx guys ;)

OMG so cute I used to own pigs but they all died.

She looks old enough to sex.

One of my pigs got busy with a female he was staying with while we were away on holiday and when I got back a couple of weeks or so later we had little guinea-pigs!

The one girl at the pet store said she has about 4 guinea pigs and she told me mine was too young to tell :/ so she told me to come back in a month or so and she'll check again or she said for me to check myself, which I will probably do...I'm pretty sure I know the differences between a male and a female  :p
But they sat there for about 5 minutes and checked to see what he/she was and they still couldn't tell :dunno:

Thanx again :D

:hyper: Cute Pig

I used to breed Guinea Pigs. I had six females and two males. All unrelated. I'm thinking about starting up again next year but its a huge commitment.

To sex him imagine a 'Y'. If 'Piggie' is a boar there will be a small pimple in the middle of the 'Y'. No pimple then he's a sow ;)

Pet shops will try to cover themselves by not commiting themselves to what sex an animal is, unless they are 100% sure.
You can sex G. pigs from birth if you kno what to look for ;)

I want him

My parents bred guineas all growing up and I continued until about 2 years ago sold the last ones :(

Another way to tell is flip it over and press your thumb gently on the abdomen right about the er, area ;) If it's a little boy, his manhood will pop out

Very cute piggy
