Lovely kitties. I like to think, "You can never have too many cats." Unfortunately you can, if Hubby is a dog person and you are a cat person.

Just take him to a local shelter and he'll just melt. I'm not cat person but my hubby is and both these cats come from rescue missions. I just couldn't deny them a home and now i love them so much.

I took mine to a shelter and I was only allowed one cat to accompany my other cat He's not an animal person at all. It's ok though...he can't deny me any animal as long as I take care of them.

I'll second the nomination on the two relaxing...they are just too cute

I love them but they scratch up my whole house, and my clothes if i leave them out. I don't like it! which is why i never wanted cats.

I don’t know if I told you guys Bella’s story or not but to reiterate I got her from a crazy lady in my building. Apparently this woman got her cats when she was homeless, so the cats went from home to home until she got a place. One day this woman came to my apartment crying that one of her cats were dead. I went up there and the place was so gross. It was no wonder that the animal died. I’ve never seen anything like it. There was so much debris on the floor that I had to walk on top of it and it was at least a foot high. There were forts everywhere and it took a long time to find Bella (formaly known as Yemoton) in there. I took out both cats (dead one was picked up by a local shelter thank goodness). Bella hid under my bed for days. I had to put food and water under the bed for her. It took a good year for her not to be skittish and to mellow out, poor thing. She never saw a vet in the three years this lady had her and she was sick. It was an ordeal. Plus Bella and her brother (the one who died) had a few litters; I have no idea where those kittens went. No more babies for her. It’s so sad that people like this woman end up with any animals. She’s asked me about fish b4 but I scared her away from the hobby telling her how much work is involved. Zeno is another story.
