My L114

These are quite possibly my favourite plec I had a large 9 inch or so one years back but it died after being trapped under a big piece of bog wood fell and injured it terribly

It took me a while to find another at a reasonable price and Ive had this one for about a year, hes still only about 4 or so inches I plan to buy more if I find them at a decent price with a view to breeding many years down the line

Does anyone else keep them?

Donkt keep an Pseudas but that is a corking fish

Pseudas are my favourite Mike along with the Panaques. Im trying to get an L24 and L25 at the moment that is coming into a shop near me soon

very nice. Is 9" the size they max out at?

I'm very tempted to get a larger more fancy plec, but when my BN occassionally buries himself into the lower cat litter substrate, creating a lovely fog effect in the tank, I get the reminder that it's not a great idea.

PLANET CATFISH says so and I had one about 9inches in the past and they look spectacular at that size , Ive had plecs that bury in the sand but my L114 doesnt if that helps

my cousin has one of these, its probably just a coupe of inches or so short of full size, its stunning.

Simonas - I have a L114 of similar size. When I first got it, it was very shy. But now it is out and about a lot of the time.

Re the L024 & L025 I see on a specialist Plec forum that these are going to available again soon. I would imagine though that they won't be cheap.

im on there probably the same ive expressed an interest in, bout £150 each. I cant affored them but will get the money some how I'll sell my Galaxis, L128 and Royal to reduce some of cost
