Hello my name is Jason and I'm currently cycling a 40 gallon breeder tank with 10 corydora and one pearl gourami I'm currently on the 9th day I'm cycling using stability and Prime and I'm noticing out of the tap my KH is around 40-80ppm and ph around 6.5. I do have one medium sized piece of mopani wood that I boiled for 7 days straight and 1 medium sized rock and 2 small rocks, I'm not releasing any tannins that I can see. My gh is about 120ppm. My fish seem to be doing just fine, very active. but I'm worried about my low kh and possible ph swings in the future, and I'm also having reservations about trying to adjust it because I heard trying to adjust it can do more harm than good and it's best to just keep it stable as long ad its within normal range. But is my range safe? Or should I use products like seachem neutral regulator? Any help is very much appreciated

There is nothing wrong with your GH, KH or pH for the fish species mentioned. Regular (once every week on the same day) partial water changes of 50-60% of the tank volume, keeping the filter clean, vacuuming the substrate in open areas during the water change, not overstocking or overfeeding, and maintaining compatible fish species, will work to maintain stable water conditions and parameters.

If you are really concerned you can add a small bit of limestone, sandstone, coral rubble or some shells to the tank or filter. They are all made from calcium carbonate and will help stabilise the pH. But as Byron mentioned, your water is fine for gouramis and Cories.

Thank you colin, I appreciate you guys responding so quick. Very glad I joined this fourm
