Not sure how to post piccy's so had to use this so I hope it has worked ok

What you should find is my new Juwel Vision 180 cycling which has now been set up for around 2 weeks.

Also a piccy of my old 2ft tank which is home to Lobby my Blue Lobster along with a few other fish.
He is the main reason I bought the Juwel one as he is getting very big now.

Any advice or comments would be greatly appreciated, mainly on how or when to transfer my current fish to the new tank minus Lobby he is staying put.

Thanks for looking and I am sorry if u can't see the piccy's but I am not sure why it own't upload the piccy's to the forum direct.

what sort of fish are you planning to keep?

I currently have 2 Golden Gourami's, 1 Blue Gourami, 5 Guppies, 2 Angel Fish, 4 Halequin Rasbora's and of course the Blue Lobster but he isn't moving to the Juwel Tank.

I will be getting more fish eventually but not sure what yet. I would like a plec but not a big un. Could you recommend a possible breed to get?

what about a Pitbull Pleco?
i think they only grow like 6 cm or something...
Thanks for that I will look into those then. :good:

So what do u think of the tank? My other tank is pretty much destroyed by the lobster so it was to great to get my teeth into this one.

I am pleased so far.

Can't wait to see fish swimming around now.

seems great..
could u put some pics up?

This is my new Juwel Vision 180, been setup now for about 2 weeks.

It has 3 live plants in not sure of their names, a couple of plastics plants, a huge piece of bogwood which I like cos I think it looks like a volcano thus thats the reason why I put red gravel at the bottom of it.
Black fine substrate which I think looks really nice.

Not sure of water chemistry levels yet as I havn't decided as yet which testing kit to buy.

Get an API Master Kit - money well spent.

Tank looks superb - you've created a very cool effect, well done.

That a nice tank. I guess some tetras guppies platies mollies will be nice.

:shout: :shout: Got an API test kit, mainly due to all the good comments about it on here.

Anyway did my first test and it's as follows:-

Nitrite 3.0
Ammonia 0.25
Nitrate 20
Ph 7.2
Temp 80 F 26-27 C

Fishless cycling now for just over 2 weeks.

Noticed today 2 very very tiny snails not sure what to do about them or why they have turned up.
