Hello I am very interested in hybrid cichlids.I currently have the following.

1 Large female blood parrot(7")
1 Female golden flowerhorn
1 Male Jellybean parrot (undyed) - I'm still of the opinion they are just balloon pink cons though.
1 Female sajica x pink convict(the mother pink con was the offspring of my JB and striped con)
1 Male (possibly) Texas cichlid mix(not sure with what, possibly JD or convict).

I have also had a batch of blood parrot x jellybean parrot.

don't really know if you want us to say anything ???

i have 5 bp's no other hybrids.

:good:

oooh nice colection mate :p

i have.....

1 5" female pinkish/orange undyed bp.

a large 7" + 8" breeding pair of orange undyed blood parrots i just bought.

in my cichlid comunity tank i have a pink convict female paired up with a very colourfull nicaraguensis male, i am hoping on some viable fry.

my sajica cichlid male is about 5" and a massive lump on his head, he had tons of babies with a convict, they are ina seperate tank and the biggest of wich is now 1" they are sajicas with random patterns and one of them has a very big shieny yellow eye. ( deformity ? ), there is over 100 of them and im proud on contributing to the hybrid creation process :)

As long as you are responsible with them and never put them into the hobby.

Well say you take some convict hybrids that still look like convicts to the lfs(my sajica x con could probably pass for either)and the lfs sells them as convicts to someone that doesnt know better then its gonna pollute the bloodlines.Just look at flowerhorns, its really hard to find pure bred trimacs anywhere now because of them.

I'm not saying you shouldnt create hybrids, just that you should be responsible with them.
