:-( :-( :-( Both my honeys died today. I have recently chamged my wood with a rock and lots of water. Are they sensitive to water change or did one of my fish kill them. They are never bothered by fish. :-( I might take all my fish out of my tank and get 2 puffers instead

Can't believe that Bea didn't get here first.
I'm sorry that you lost your honey gourami. How long did you have them and are the levels in the tank ok? I'd get it checked out before I add or change fish.

Wood can change the PH levels of your water. Did you adjust the water temp before you added it in? They will get schock, if ur tank temp is 26 celcious and u just add water from the tap, it might be too cold and it will bring the temp down. Not good for the fish.

Hi Silva_fishy~

Sorry to hear about your losses :( :( :( It's never a good feeling to lose fish. I'd echo what jams.alaska wrote in that I'm curious to hear what your water parameters are...like ammonia and nitrites. It seems that you have a lot of fish in your 15 gallon tank (if this is the same tank where the deaths occurred). How frequently do you do water changes?
