My Hm Betta Tail Been Nipped

My Red HM Male has been nipped on the tail!!! How do you get the tail back to it original quality?

Make sure his water's clean, add a bit of aquarium salt and a bit of melafix or bettafix (I use diluted melafix on my fishies). He should be better in no time.

He is in a tank on his own now, the water is very clean. I will have to have a look around to see if bettafix etc. are sold in the UK.
