My Greedy Gold Fish

my silver/gold fish iv had him almost 12 years. he has some fresh plants in his tank and hes such a guts eats loads but today hes been in his pot that he hides in and not come out for any feed or to even splash water at me for iggnoreing him. he has a bubble stick in there which he loves to lay over when he has a touch of fin rot. he was cleaned out a couple of weeks ago. any ideas as to why hes so down and not feeding today?

What are your water stats in ammonia, nitrite, nitrate, and ph.
First thing to rule out is bad water quality.
What type of goldifsh is he?
