my future pojects list

here are the 3 projects that are pretty much final except for one my 150-180 gallon tank for my study.

lets start with the list that hasn't been made final:

150-180

one or more/ combos?

herichthys carpontis
nandopsis tetracanthus
parapetnia motaguense ( red tiger)
nandopsis hatiensis


75 sand with live plants and altum angels possibly some other small peaceful cichlids

and a 46 bow front with some lake victoria cichlids

any ideas for the 150 to 180 guys?

Wow, that's great news, juan.

For the 180, if it were me, I would try the haitiensis and motaguense. That would rule! :smb:

Let's hear some more ideas you are thinking of. We can all throw them off from each other.

Sounds cool! If I ever had a tank that big, I would probably want to try getting a mating pair of Jags or something like that.

From what I've heard about them, they get pretty nasty. But I haven't ever had them so I can't say for sure and even if they did you could always use a divider.

I think personally, it would be cool two try to haitiensis tho. :smb:

so I have decided that even though the possibilities are indeed endless that I am going to keep them open for now..... so lets do this guys...

my requirements: TONS of attatude aka agressive

my wifes requirements: unique or lots of colors

OK, I can meet these requirements. I would get either a dovii or female festae. The males are more drab and not as aggro as females ime.

When I get my bigger tank someday, I WILL be getting a male dovii. The king of all cichlids and the baddest of the bad. If you look real closely you can see his canines. They get around 25" on avg.

Female festae are extremely mean and aggro and imo, the best looking cichlid. They grow to about 12-13".

Hmmm, I seem to have heard you mention that 2 or 30 times. :smb:

I would just do it my man. You want aggro, and that's as aggro a cichlid there is. And Carrie wants colorful..you can se how beauiful it is, and imo, the second most beautiful cichlid.
