my pal has a rio 300, he noticed his fish has white spot, not the end of the world. But then he goes and chucks a full dose of meth blue in! I told him this morning hes a numpty and his filter now needs a recycle. Anyhow now he has just said dont panic ive done a 75% water change and im now gonna treat interpet 6. Lol! Im not an absolute expert and hes asked wether its safe to do so, what do u think? Or what should he do other than not keep fish!

They will be some methylene blue still in the tank so I would run some black carbon for a day before starting another med.
Then do a water change again and remove the black carbon from the filter.

great minds think alike, as i have told him to do just that. The only issue is what if there is still meth blue in there? However i doubjt none of us can really answer that. Thanks wilder
