...well not really, my other fish ate it!!!. I have 2 Dwarf Gouramis. One is larger than the other (im asuming the larger is male, and the other is female). The male chases the female around all the time and today I looked in and the female was missing about 80% of her tail fin. I bought a tank devider a while back and separated them for a while, after about a month of separation I took the divider out. For about a week after I took it out, the fish seemed to get along quite well. But then he just starts chasing her around. What should I do about this problem child. I jokingly suggested to my girlfriend that we should cut off his tail and see if he likes it, but Im not that mean. But I need some advice. Thanks

mine does that to. just get the girl some nice hidding spots, maybe by one of those cave things and put some plants near it, i put a fake plant near my cave and the guys afraid to go near it so she hides there. mine also lost her tail but shes fine.

u need at least 4 dwarf gouramis ina tank.

If they are a pair, just give her lost of hiding spots so she can get away from him.Check there dorsal fin, they might both be males and that isnt good. You dont need to have 4 in a tank, just make sure they are a pair and have lots of places to hide, if they are both male then you will need to get some females.

Alright everybody, thanks for the input. Quick question though, How can you tell if they are male or female :dunno:
