My favorite gold barb just got fin rot(i think cause he was stressed cause i just moved the tank) and so i got tetracycline tablets but when i put it in the first day my beloved dwarf gourami ate all the desolving peices that floated to the top. Now there is an obvious bulge in his stomach, he acts not atol like himself(he sulks about bearly moving and has no intrest in feeding.)
now its been a few days later and he's still acting wierd. He actually came up during feeding time and looked like he wanted to eat so i was encouraged but when i put a live blood worm(his fav food) right in front of him it looked like he sorta saw it but then ignored it and had a glazed look on his face like he was blind. then he went into a corner and just stayed there staring forward bearly breathing like a zoombie. now i dont know what to do. every time i look in the tank im scared to find him dead, i glanced in there just now and didnt see him right away(his the bigest and most colorful fish and should be easy to spot) and im sooo scared to look again afraid of what ill find.
It's probably too late now but please be careful when feeding meds(i now drop the tabs at night when its dark and the fish are asleep or i dissolve the tabs in a glass of water first. im so miserable, i think i have to go check the tank now ... :(

thanx. he hasn't taken any food since it happened five days ago but i just looked at him and he looks allot better(he's swiming around and responding to his environment) :) i think he might make it :)

with all meds you must disolve the tablets in plastic jar/container that you will not use again.
It should of said it on the instructions
