My betta is shredded(posted that in the betta section already) and now my trials and tribulations with my silver dollars are starting again.

The larger SD, in the past week, has developed a shredded dorsal fin. there appear to be spots as well on this fin but the spazzy thing wont be still for me to look. I'm just stressing it out trying to get a better look. One of the longfin blue danios has a spot on its tail as well. It appears to be somewhat fuzzy in nature rather that "salt grain like"
I dont have an available hospital at the moment and for all I know the kulhi's have this as well. Should I try to get them separated or treat the whole tank?

This is a 55 gal: Ammonia 0, nitrite 0, nitrate 20-40 ppm (I dont trust this reading ... getting a new kit in the morning) pH 7.2

I've been having trouble with temp. flux in the last few days. Its been unseasonably cold here. I dont think its dropped below 75F but that might have been enough to bring on something like ich. I'll be getting a second heater in the morning as well.

I have a few meds on hand here: Aquarisol, copper safe (I think these 2 are basically the same thing) Jungle Fungus fizzies and ich fizzies, as well as salt.

help me :-(

If it looks fuzzy, I'd go with the Jungle Fungus Fizzies and salt (as long as everyone in the tank can handle salt). I'd also try to keep the temp down around 75-76 degrees. If you don't have a hospital tank than treat the main tank. It sounds like a bacterial infection, the Jungle Fungus Clear Fizzies may be effective against it but you may have to repeat the treatment after 4 days.

If you have spots with the fungus I would go with a bacteria med.
