I dont have anything in the tank yet, fishless cycling

I am going to be getting

3x Honey Gourami
4x Pygmy Catfish
2x Otto Catfish

I think your tank would look great with a few shrimp too along side your planned stocking idea

IMO i would have either the catfish (cories?) or the ottos, they'll both do much better in a larger group

I suppose it would be wiser to have larger groups but i dont like just having 2 species of fish, its seems pretty boaring, I will have to ponder on that one.

maybe have something like a shoal, your bottom dwellers then a single centre peice fish

how many gal is it?
