Howdy all,

I'm new to the forum as bought my tank on Saturday and spent yesterday running backwards and forwards from my living room to the kitchen to fill the buckets. Should of done this before getting a water meter installed!

I'm starting the cycling today once I've got a few bits and bobs from ASDA so there's no fish in it yet.

Not got a great load of stuff in the tank apart from the gravel and a few ornaments but no doubt will add to them in the future - prob every time I go into the LFS I'll come out with another bit to put in. lol

Oh and I need to find a background

:good:

:hi: to the forum!
The tank looks good so far, have you got any ideas for stocking it?

:)

Thanks Twinkle

I'm thinking of the following combo but that seems to change on a daily basis lol

8-10 Zebra Danios or Harlequin Rasboras
8-10 Tiger Barbs - these I love as watched them for a while in the LFS, they're so funny.
Then either a collection of either zebra loach, peppered cory or a Bristlenose Catfish.

Think it just depends what I like on the day I'm looking to get them lol

Very nice tank, I want to get one of them as well to go with my corner tank. Bet you can't wait to get the fish in.

A very nice aquarium, and it sits at a great spot. Between the two walls, it seems to be a perfect fit; and with that wall light above it—how could it get any better? I hope that wall heater doesn't make the fish too warm when autumn/winter comes.

What size is it—40-50G?

Tank is looking very pristine, make sure you have a good source of ammonia for your fishless cycling.

Thanks, when decorating my living room that alcove was saved for the aquarium as it fitted in it great.

Its 180 Ltrs so thats 40Gs

You're welcome!

Cool. The tank looks like mine, except for the platic-wood frame. Mine's a 46G, but it says 174.12 in liters. Mine sits on a double-shelved oak table. The whole aqaurium probably ways around 450lbs. There's 381lbs of water alone in there. :S

Had a bit of a change around after going to a fab LFS in Sowerby Bridge, West Yorkshire.

Water cloudy due to cycling.
