My first pregnant fish

I have noticed that my rosy tetra is pregnant, this is my first tank ever, and im clueless as what i need to do and buy to help keep her eggs alive.
Please advise me, how long will it take for her to lay her eggs, how long until they hatch.. where should i put them, what do i need to keep them alive, what should i feed them, basically i need to know everything!

You would need another tank as the eggs are light-sensitive and do not develop unless darkened.
