Don't forget the MOST IMPORTANT PIECE OF EQUIPMENT....a digital camera. :hi: SH

I have found something that came with the live rock. It has three tentacle-like arms coming out of a hole in the rock and it has black and white bands along the tentacle. They are really small so I cant get a clear picture of them, but would anyone know what this is?

I've done some looking around and it seems like it might be a mini brittle star. This sound right?

yeah that is the picture that i saw and the tiny arms that come out kind of look like that. It stays hidden, I havent seen anything but the arms moving in and out, so they are the only thing I can judge it on

Wow I just found out that my parents have a RO system in our house that we use for our drinking water. Now I dont have to buy anymore water for water changes. Its pretty sweet to find out something new like that

make sure its RO not a carbon filter or a water softener....

Yup it is RO. We have a water softener in our house that provides water to every tap except the 1 that runs on an RO unit.

I saw on a website that someone turned an old Aqualclear HOB filter into a refugium. I have one lying around so if I were to do this and put some LR and some macroalgae in it, would this be beneficial to my tank or a waste of time?

it would be very beneficial, as long as you give it some light as well :)

What version of the aquaclear is it, I am in the process of making a fuge out of a AC70 (300). Its going well but I now need to find some filter media that fits my baffle section.

Take a look at this: AC70 Fuge Conversion

Good luck and enjoy!!

Yeah thats the exact same one that I saw. I think that I will just buy a bag of filter floss and just change it every time I do a water change

Alright so I've been thinking about what I want to stock my tank with. I'm just not quite sure how many fish I should put in. And know I want:

Tomato Clownfish
Firefish
Clown Goby

Should I stick with those or could I add a Royal Gramma as well?
