Here is the results from some eggs I purchased a short while ago, out of 12 eggs I only managed to hatch out 2 fry, they are both male! was hoping for a pair but I guess that was too much to ask! still lovely to look at, really difficult to photograph hence why there is just one in the pic, the other is slightly behind in it's development but I can see his colours developing too, hopefully by next week I should have more eggs arriving and this time I may get a female for my boys :good:

Wow & congrats, he's lovely. What kind of killie is he? Sorry you didn't get a female. Sending positive fishy vibes your way for next time. :good:

Them little buggers are hard to photograph aren't they. I have yet to get a satifactory picture of my two. Dosen't keep me from trying though.

Thank you :) he's a Fundulopanchax Gardneri, they are very difficult to photograph, they just dart about all over the place, they stop and then dart which is a photographers nightmare!

I'm no Trekkie, but they remind me of Captain Kirk when the move in this manner.

"Killie's log...star date 42024.7...I...have identified...the large being...that feeds us...to be known as...humans...on this planet." :p

Hi Mike, I got the eggs from a seller on Ebay he was selling batches of 30 for £12 so I pm'd him and asked if he could send me 15 for £6, I still only have one baby this morning but I can see another couple of eggs with eyes staring back at me :D
