My first fish

Hello all im realy happy today as iv just got my first fish iv got 5 red platies 1 blind cave fish and a little frog. i know there arnt a lot of them but its my first trop setup so i wanted to go one step at a time. any i dears what fish to go for next

If your tank was just cycled, I would hold off for a week or two. You don't want to overload your bio-filter.

Yes, you should wait to add anymore. Get yourself a water testin ket. I just got one and not only is it easy to do but its fun too! Mine came with a book that explained what the water parameters should be. It's made by Tetramin.

my tank is 24 x 18 x 12 and has just fished its cyceal. but its an old filter but going to add a extriea one on tomoro ( working a long side the old ) to get it reun in.

♂ That's roughly a 20 gal US tank. Yeah, you can add a bit more.
I personally would have had more a variety of platies, not just
red. You will have some very cool contrast if you mix ones of
different colors, like one mostly red, one mostly orange, and one
mostly yellow/gold.
Since your platies are large (fat) bodied fish, I would add some
little slim ones. Glowlight tetras are a good choice.
