My First Diy 20 Long Refugium

Hello!

This is my first post on these forumns and I would like to share my first DIY 20 Long glass Refugium.

I constructed it myself to house my brand new EV-120 with 18" of Fuge and the return pump out of Lucite and DAP Silicone.
The Hood is from a 20 High tank. T

he Refugium is also Housing an Eco Aqualizer and a small power head.

Haha and yes I had messed with the Chaeto as you can see.

I just need a Metric TONNE of live rock now.

I'm new to all this stuff so let me ask u a question:

What exactly is a refugium? And do i need one on a 30gal tank?

Refugium is a filteration system much more affective and has advantages over the other methods.
No you don't need one for any tank but the is a much more affective method, so i highly suggest using
one especially if your going to have coral.
