my lfs told me it's the "yellow spot" although can't find ID of a yellow spot
looks like a common pleco to me-- but i hope not- cause it will be too big
for my tank when time comes-- :D

i found a very similar photo - "mustard spot"
but it grows to a max 13cm-- :(

but i'm still not sure yet-- so if anyone
can ID my pleco it would be greaaaat!!!!

:good:

lks nice tho! lets hope its not a common. im after a pleco but i dont want anything that will get massive? maybe a bulldog or a brislenose somehting that might eat algae as well. any recommendations. it will be in a 120ltr with nothing else aggressive just tetras and livebearers.

yup-- hope it's not common-- :D
there's a queen arabesque pleco and emperor pleco in my list
before-- either of them will look nice in your tank.

but it's hard to find in my area-- my only option is online
which i don't approve to.. (too risky)

try looking here: http://www.tropicalfish4u.co.uk/Fish/Freshwater/Plecos
but don't trust the site okay-- :D i only use it for photos references.

-goodluck-

thanks. i dnt like buying fish online, i like to see them first

loving the retro colour substrate!! imo you cant seethe neons too well but that mite be the pics. i mite just end up getting a BN plec as they eat algae like no one! do they eat brown algae? nice pics tho!

Not too keen on the gravel...a darker substrate would also show off your fish colours better too :good: whats that rock you have??..i like it

it's a Kaynite Crystalite Rock-- i bought it in SeaPets.Com--- :hey:
and i prefer dark substrate too although my wife happened to choose for the retro one-- :(

nice tank :good: im pretty sure the plec is a clown plec

thanks---
i've been to my LFS today and she
insisted that it's a yellow spotted pleco
it grows to 6inch max...

so i think i'm a little bit over stocked.. :(
or maybe "just" - cause i'm tranferring the gouramis to
a new tank - - - i'll put GBR in this one and make it a SA Tank -- :D
