Ok so I decided this week to get a BN pair

My LFS hobbyshop had 5 so I got 1 pair male/female that are apx 3 to 3.5in..?

one has alot of bristles one ...has much less, so I am assuming thats male/female from what I read.

they have their own 20g long, cave, heater, filter

ph: apx 6.8

~
I would like to help encourage them to breed.

I also raise bettas and guppies.

was just wondering if theres anything else I can do? I have heard of some pairs not taking to each other for over a year? or is that 2" ones? I am not sure!!! LOL help

I also have the tank not in direct light currently.

any tips etc?

thx

have plenty of caves feed well.
add some bogwood

and youll just have to see what happens it can take a while but they will breed
theyre not difficult to breed or raise.
just leave them to it :good:
