My first betta....

I had a betta once before, a long time ago. He lived for a very short time in a 10 gallon community tank. I bought one today at the local PetSmart. His name is George and he seems quite happy in his 6 gallon tank. I also bought a cave and a silk plant that is tall enough that some of the leaves float on the top of the water. He has been exploring his new home all evening. Seems quite active and happy. He has a lighter colored head with some brown freckles, but most of him is red. I took some photos but haven't yet figured out how to download them to the computer. I am proud of Hubby--not one complaint about how much I've spent so far for this one fish! I'm already checking out 1 gallon tanks that might work to house more bettas...
