My First Betta

Hey all,

Dropped my first male Betta in my 21 gallon (uk) tank yesterday afternoon. Hes just starting to come out of his shell as such, he parades up and down the tank and flares up at his reflection on the glass when only the tank lights are on and the room is dark

Hes not eating at the moment, I think hes a bit stressed still, but I will try some more blood worm tonight when I get home from work, hopefully he will get some before the Tetras get it all

Wow! That's really a bright red betta! I'd love to see a flare pic of him! And that's a nice set up for your tank. What did you use for the background?

It can be sometimes hard to find a pure red on bettas in the petstore. So congratulations, he's beautiful, and your tank is too.

YAY he ate some food for the first time today!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

He had some blood worm before the neons got to it lol.

I will try and get some pics of him flaring when hes awake again.

I got some shots of the tank so you lot could see it in full.
Its a Juwal setup, 96 ltrs which is 21 gallons (uk)

I had to move my room about a bit to get it to fit, but it looks good where it is, just needs a sort out around the tank lol.
