my first betta :)

just got my first male betta today... beautiful light yellow/whitish with pink and purple colourings have him in a 2.5g tank with a little heater. he seems happy to be out of that sad little glass jar !!

oh, don't i know it as of last week (or so) i owned no fish, and really hadn't ever thought about it. my girlfriend didn't want hers and i finally agreed to take her 10g tank full of tropical fish. i'm already addicted. i've been reading constantly and thinking about fish i'd like to have in the future... including saving the poor bettas that have had the misfortunate of being forced to live in a cup.

can't take pictures yet, but am going to borrow her webcam - is it possible to take decent pics at all on webcams ?

I wouldn't know b/c I can't even take decent pics on my digital camera haha! I think some ppl on here do take them on webcams though..... it may take forever to get one good shot, but ya know....... it'll feel great when you do~
