Its does 1200L per hour. My Tank is only 120L, is this way to powerful?
it keeps my tank VERY clean.
I have always aimed it agaist the front glass cos i thought it was to powerful ne ways. But just now i have directed it the proper way which causes a very powerful flow.
Is this good or bad for my fish?

You can never have too much filtration IMO.

Besides most people look to have their tank water filtered between 6 -10 times per hour and yours is spot on.

If the waters clean, the fish are healthy then leave it.... As the saying goes, if its not broke dont fix it.

Good luck

You most definitely can have too much filtration and current in tanks. Many fish are not used to strong currents, living in quiet or even still water. Excessive current will be stressful. Excessive water movement in planted tanks will drive CO2 out of solution and you'll starve your plants.

so what do i do? its just if i do it how i had it b4 half the tank is to still, which allows all this crap to build up on it.

Are we talking about a canister filter ?

If so you may be able to get a T shaped splitter and divert the water in different directions - reducing flow , or you might be able to hook up a spray bar type of diverter .

Or just aim the return at something to disperse the current more evenly .

Put your intake and return at opposite ends of your tank .

You can slow the current from the filter by making the return larger. Adding more spray bars, making the holes larger - a lot depends on what you have got.
