Hi folks,

need some urgent advice!!

My Blue ram has literally 5 minutes ago just laid a pile of eggs, which the male seems to be fertilising.

I have no experience in breeding and have no breeding tank etc.

What do i do please??

How do i protect them? Will they survive??

urgent advices needed please

thanks

steve :D

They're probably going to get eaten by the rams, themselves.
To protect the fry in a community tank from the other fish, they'll eat the eggs. *Shrug.* It's what happens in my tank every time.

Just a quick note -- you waited a little over a half hour before bumping your post up. ..Try giving people a chance to get to your post, and have a bit of patience. I hate being patient, but good things come to those who wait.

thanks littlefishie.

apologies for the *bump*. guess was a little over anxious! am quite new all to this and had no idea what to do.

just say the eggs do hatch......how do i keep the fry? should i buy a breeding section/tank/thingy that sits in my main tank to move the eggs/fry in to? :dunno:

would this be ok or would it cause any problems?

Do i move one of the parents aswell or just the fry?

once again...thanks in advance (and apologies for the previous *bump* :*). will be more patient in future!)
