My Female Platty is so weak!!! help

Help, my femle platty is so weak after she gave birth!! she i like, always hiding and when she comes out she is like.....lost her balance or something! it's like she can't even swim properly! all i feed my fish r Nutrafin Max complete tropical flack food

It says in my book that swim bladder disease is caused by damage or bruising to the swim bladder by careless handling or fighting; secondary bacterial infection; poor water conditions; congenital disease i.e. disease from birthing.
I think she has swim bladder disease.
Treatment: If an external cause is suspected (I guess congenital is external?), isolate the fish in a hospital tank with shallow water; if there is no improvement after 7 days.....consider euthanasia.

I know that's kind of heavy news, but that's the only problem that I can think of. If someone else thinks it's different, then good.

Oh that's bad news Kevin, sorry! Does she hav any other signs than not swimming properly?

if my platty has it does it mean that my other fish will have it too? like ich? my platty always hide and stuff and i will do my best to save it! what kind of medication can i give her?like any medicine or anything?

I love my platty!!!!!!!!!! I won't let her die........... btw will the desiese cause death to my fish

Swim bladder disease isn't contagious, so I wouldn't worry about them right now. The only medication is for bacteria infection, so you'll just have to hope for the best.
