My female laying eggs?!?

My blue betta (Astrid) has been constantly trying to get to the floor of her tank, which is coated with glass marbles. I just took a look, and I see that there are maybe thirty teeny teeny white "balls" resting on the bottom. On her underside, it looks as if one is making its way out. Is she laying eggs? I've only had females for about a week now (I usually only keep males) and this is something new to me. Thanks!

Yeah,females will sometimes drop their eggs....then eat them Nothing to worry about. You might want to ditch the marbles someday if she keeps this up, the rotting eggs will foul her tank quickly.
