My Feather Duster Is Dieing I Think

It is coming way out of its tube and just wiggling around. My clown came near it and it didn't get startled. What a shame. Everything is fine in the tank and my fish are fine, mushroom coral is fine, so it must just be a problem with the feather duster. Also, i no longer have 25 gallon SW now the 25 is a FW tank. My 55 is a SW tank.

Definitely not a good sign for the feather duster when they leave their tube. Double check your parameters to make sure they are OK.

Is it doing any better since we changed the water?

The feather duster has retreated back into its tube and now I have not seen any activity in about a day. Should I remove it? I afraid of it decomposing and raising my water parameters.
