My Elusive Catfish Pics

Not the greatest pics I am afraid, but the only way to take a pic of this chap is in the dark as he is nocturnal.

Tempted him out with a bloodworm pellet

Nooooo he/she is a Horabagrus nigricollaris, black collared catfish.

Ah very nice looks like a channel cat my dad has an albino one in his koi pond bought it cheap not realising how big they get.

About 12" as adult, looks like it's about half way there? What does it feed on?

He is about 7-8", he came with a 180l tank I bought off fleabay last year. He likes bloodworm pellet, prawn, he will take larger catfish pellet too and I have seen him have a bite at cucumber at night. He hasnt grown much since I had him, hoping he might get a little bigger now he is in a 400l tank.

I like him, but then I really like most catfish, giraffes are not my favs lol
