items used:- 1 piece of 4 inch plastic pipe , gravel from lfs, and plastic plants from lfs,and aquarium safe silicone, pond sealer

Great picture and i will take this idea and apply it to my whole tank.

Im going to line the three sides with loads of plastic caves, tunnels and ledges. i will then do what you did by siliconing stones and rocks onto it. this will then give loads of places for shrimp / fry /eggs to hide.

Great work thanks for the Idea

Hi mrnewbie :)

What a beautiful cave. :D

IMHO, hand made things are so much nicer than store bought ones. You can be really proud of this.

i use it in my guppy brreding tank , they seem to like it especially when giving birth , they hide behind or in it ,

Excellent job! Is there more than one entrance?
Did you have to seal it afterwards with the pond sealer? I take it you're not done once you've glued it all together with the aquarium silicone?

:D yes its got 3 ways in , i glued it altogether then allpied 2 coats of pond sealer , just to be safe :)) its in my guppy tank

did u use proper fish tank glue because i want ago at this building a cave this weekend.

i know we live in different countries.... but where did you get the pond sealant? at a hardware store? im having difficulties finding it.
