Very pretty fish. How long have you had them? That wood is a great idea - want to see the plants in a couple of months and see the changes.

Thanks for all the nice words. Ive had the discus for a month and a half now. They all have grown about an inch in that amount of time. I just did that to the wood yesterday, i will add more plants to it if those ones live.

Ever thought of using a substrate/don't the discus get frightened of reflections from the bottom of the tank?

no, they dont get frightened, you will find that most expiereced people use barebottom to at least grow out discus and breed them... im growing them out. much better results this way. trust me, i know what im doing, i spend most my day reading about discus...lol
